Our story
Located in the heart of Terre Haute, Indiana, this outdoor event venue was once known as Camp Wildwood, a cherished property that served for many years as the home of the Boy Scouts. Nestled within acres of mature forest, the land has long been a place for gathering, learning, and connection in nature.
When the property became available, longtime neighbors Pam and Cameron White were determined to preserve the space as the beautiful woodland setting the community had always known. Rather than see the land developed, they chose to protect it, purchasing the property with the vision of maintaining its natural character while opening it to others.
Today, the former Camp Wildwood has been thoughtfully transformed into a nature-based event venue in Terre Haute, welcoming outdoor weddings, birthday parties, family reunions, and private events. Surrounded by towering trees and peaceful clearings, the venue offers a unique alternative to traditional indoor spaces, providing couples and hosts with an authentic outdoor event space in the Wabash Valley.
Whether you’re planning a wedding venue in Terre Haute, a milestone celebration, or a meaningful gathering, this preserved forest setting offers a serene and memorable backdrop. Rooted in local history and guided by a commitment to conservation and community, the venue continues its legacy as a place where people come together to celebrate life’s most important moments—now in a way that honors both the land and the memories made upon it.
